Gary is the manager of The Signing Echoes. That is a title that
possesses many different hats to wear. In addition to the promotional
aspects of the group, booking, and scheduling talent for the Blue Springs Valley
Gospel Singing are all things Gary does. Gary also maintains the bus. Gary
is an accomplished song writer, having written many of the group's signature
songs. “When I Go Strolling," the ever popular “It’s Enough” recorded in 1985
which climbed to #2 in the nation on the Singing News Chart. “Beautiful Heaven,”
and “On Holy Ground” remained in the top 20 of the Singing News Chart for
months. “Keep Your Eyes On Him,” “I’m Depending On Jesus,” and “The Next Glory
Flight” were all top 40 songs also written by Gary. Gary travels with his
wife and son on the road, along with his grandchild Jonah. Gary has a
distinct male lead singer voice, one that you will remember singing "Lord,
You're The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me," "Just A Rose Will
Do," "Victory is Sweet," and
"Somebody's Here." Gary plays the harmonica, guitar, and the fiddle for
the group and also produces every album the group records. Gary is a
cowboy at heart, loving all westerns and old movies with John Wayne, Roy
Rodgers, and others. He likes his steak burnt, smothered and covered with
peppers and onions.
