Singing Echoes fans, welcome to our inaugural segment of “ON THE ROAD”. We would like to encourage our fans, friends, and family to follow this page to get a small experience of life on the road with the Singing Echoes. We will try to bring you a new story or experience biweekly. So mark your calendars and keep in touch with perhaps the most exciting group in gospel music.

As, I am writing this I am sitting in the captain’s chair (my usual spot) on the bus on our way back home from Stonewall MS. We had an incredibly blessed day. We worshiped this morning at Stonewall Assembly Of God in Stonewall MS. The group had been at this church last year in February and I was unable to attend. My wife Adrienne had some health issues last year and I stayed at home to keep a closer watch on her. So, this morning when I awoke I started helping the group roll our caravan into the church when everyone began to remind me that I was not in attendance when the group was there last.

When I arrived inside the church, the church began to sing some hymns. I felt God’s spirit begin to move in the service right from the start. We started singing and people really seemed to be enjoying the service. The more we sang the more it felt like God was going to lift the roof off of that place. We finished singing our last two songs, which generally takes about 10 minutes but this time lasted at least 25 minutes.  The altars began to fill up because God’s presence was so great and was full with people getting right with God. It was such a blessing to attend this service. It was so uplifting to see God move and his presence to surround us like he did this morning.

In a week in which I was discouraged by a few things that had happened (My truck was in the shop, my wife’s car had some problems, the bus hydraulic core decided to leak and had us broke down in the extreme cold. Not to mention the fact while writing this, the tire fell off of the trailer) I can’t express how wonderful God made me feel this morning. I have tears in my eyes because of the JOY that he brought to my heart. I know that life can get discouraging for us at times but if our focus remains on God and our prayers keep reaching his ear (they always do) HE WILL SUPPLY OUR EVERY NEED!

The church helped us load up our bus afterwards and then they helped load up our stomachs! They took us to the local fish camp and fed us a feast!  We had a wonderful day of worship and a nice table spread and a bountiful blessing again from God’s bounty. I believe if I ate one more bite they would have had to roll me out.

I want to thank every fan for their continued support of the Singing Echoes ministry. I ask you to please keep us in your prayers and on your prayer lists. The Singing Echoes would like to request your request as well. What do I mean by that? We would like you to call your local radio stations and request our latest single “I’m A Used To Be”.  Until next time, may God richly bless you and your family.

Sincerely Matthew T. Epperson
