Jeremy is the eldest son of Lynn Epperson.  His wife, Amanda, is from Greensboro, NC.  He has two children, Jordan (11) and Bryson (8).  He has traveled full time with the group since 1990.  He originally joined to play the drums, and when his grandfather retired, Jeremy stepped in with a guitar and started singing the baritone part.  Jeremy is a talented musician and singer.  With a vocal range that enables him to sing pretty much any part, he provides versatility, with some of the best harmonizing singing you will ever hear.  Jeremy has written songs like "Sharpen Your Sword," "Hasn't He Always Been There," "Will You Be Ready," "I Know, There's No Maybe So," "When a Meeting's Gonna' Break Out," "I'm Prepared," "I Know,"  and his latest song "The Prayer."  If you haven't heard Jeremy sing this song, you really need to listen to the story told in this song.  From life experience, Jeremy paints such a plain picture that God knows the prayer, before you even pray.  Jeremy has a unique demeanor, and is super with kids...perhaps because he is so much like one.  Jeremy likes all kinds of foods...weird stuff too!
