THE SINGING ECHOES The Most Exciting Group in Gospel Music! Gilbert Lynn Epperson |
||||
|
Lynn Epperson is the bass singer for the Singing Echoes. Lynn travels with all three of his children, Jeremy, Adam, and Matthew. Each weekend he leaves his wife Glenda and travels with the group just as he's been doing for the last 38 years. Over the years, he has been mentioned as one of the favorite bass singers in the Singing News Magazine, and recently he has been awarded the Favorite Bass Singer by the fans at the SGM Fanfair. Having been nominated for the last 3 years, He is well on his way to being one of the best known Bass Singers in Gospel Music. Some of the songs you might remember him singing are "First Glimpse of Heaven," "When I Wake Up To Sleep No More," "Enter In," "It's Enough," " Think I'm Excited," and many others. Perhaps best known for the phrase "Shame on the Devil!" He has been an ordained minister that preaches the Gospel for many years. Lynn is known for being one of the happiest people that you will ever meet, always taking time to make everyone feel special that he meets. He played bass for the group when his parents were traveling, toteing that classic blonde Fender Jazz Bass that he was known by. Lynn likes pretty much any kind of food you put in front of him, but some of his favorites are Coconut Cake, Chicken and Dumplin's, Fried Chicken and all the fixin's. I've known him to be partial to the Christmas season, always looking forward to surprises that he has in store for his family. He is so proud of his grandchildren, Jordan, Bryson, and Gabe. |
