Shame On The Devil!!

 

Well Happy New Year to all of humanity.  It's a time for celebration. A time of renewal.

Hope springs anew and every soul regardless of their color, or faith, or political persuasion, they get a fresh start and a new chance

A new sheet to work from; a new  year. With the problems from the last year behind we press forward with new challenges new energy and new goals and attitudes.  It's a great time. At the "Y"  new year resolutions are literally being  put into action where the pounds and inches from too many moments of indulgement are painfully and mercilessly bent ,crunched and twisted into every conceivable position and indeed as some would purport inconceivable positions in the name of losing pounds and inches from a resisting waistline. It is usually short lived, as sooner, rather than later we all succumb to our weaknesses and return to our old life styles and will abandon all the resolutions and leave them in the proverbial dust. But we can't resist the thought of new things. A fresh start. A bold new beginning. Why is that? What makes the human being so anxious for the different. Are they really so unhappy with the way things are? The brutality of life many times takes all the life out of us. We are a weary multitude that is forever looking for the " light at the end of the tunnel". The very thought of newness. A fresh start a new beginning is very inviting. Hope is infectious. When it is gone so are we. Do you read  a message in all of this? Is God teaching us something here?

This New Year thing The new beginnings the fresh starts all the new stuff...

It is symbolic of the New Birth, where God takes a penitent heart and washes away all the sin all that past all the unforgettable and makes it fresh and new. Where once there was ciaos and destruction, the Grace of all mighty God gives a fresh new heart. And with that a fresh new start A brand new life. Hope was all gone. The reason to live buried in  the dust. But God's love has nurtured up and fed life into a dying soul.

And the change is tangible. You can see it. They are noticeable changed they are different. That's what God does to the lifeless. He gives them life. New life ,a fresh start. Hope.

Invite the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart, repent of your sins, ask him to save you and let him give you a new start. a fresh new start. Sin forgiven, shame overcome, the sense of worth restored. I have hope again. I can dream again My life means something again. I have someone that loves me, again. WOW!!      Now that's living!
